I have over 25 years as an executive heading up HRM functions in national and multi-national organisations. My corporate roles have included:

Chief Human Resources Officer (Global) - ABC Learning Centres
Director Human Resources and Marketing - Brisbane City Council

Consulting Background

In addition to holding senior executive roles in the public and private sectors, I have also owned and operated a small boutique consulting firm specialising in workplace investigation and dispute resolution, organisational review, executive coaching, and related HRM services.

My clients have included federal and state government departments, major multi-national companies, not-for-profit organisations, universities throughout Australia, and professional associations.

I have also held a number of Non-Executive Director roles on public, private and NFP boards, and have also been appointed to a number of government and Governor-in-Council appointments to panels, commissions of inquiry, and tribunals.

In December 2013, I was appointed to the Queensland Local Government Review Panel, and in 2018, I was appointed as a Tribunal Member of the Qld Councillor Complaints Tribunal.

I am currently:

a Non-Executive Director of the Board of CSIA (Community Services Industry Alliance)

Workplace investigations - over 400 workplace investigations into complaints and grievances related to sexual harassment, bullying, theft, & similar conduct.

Conflict diagnostics - tailored, specialised processes to ascertain the root causes of conflict and disputes in the workplace. Clients have included Queensland Transport, the Department of Veterans' Affairs, Womens' Legal Service Qld, Toowoomba City Council, Griffith University, and USC.

Mediation - as an Approved Queensland Supreme Court Mediator, I have successfully conducted meditations over many years for organisations including QUT, USQ, Southern Cross University, the Isis Sugar Mill, the Queensland Museum, USC, Queensland Transport, and the Department of Veterans' Affairs.
